We finally made it to Utah for our "Christmas Break" in January. (something we will never do again...)It started off with Jeff flying in early to spend a few days with his family in Tremonton. Then I flew in and met up with Jeff and his family and were fortunate enough to be in town for Jeff's Aunt Mary's funeral. This sweet woman (whom Jeff lived with for some time while going to Weber State) battled a tough fight with ovarian cancer for 2 years. She was a well accomplished lady, having a PHD in nursing, wrote 2 or 3 nursing text books and traveled the world. What a priviledge to know such a sweet woman.
We then traveled south to St. George to spend a few days there with Jeff's brothers and to support Remington getting baptized. It is always a blast getting together with the Harris family... tons of laughs, late nights, and playing with the kids.
The boys had many late nights playing Call of Duty.
Jeff and all his adorable neices. He is always so cute with these girls. They all love their Uncle Jeff.
We did lots of hanging out, relaxing and lots of catching up and laughing.
The "HOT DOG" game was a huge it. Tipper made up this game awhile ago with the kids so of course Jeff had to join in on the fun. While someone counts, all the kids (wearing their "condiment" headband have to go hide. Once they are found, the counter brings them back to the "BUN". Once all condiments are found, the bun is rolled up and the counter eats the HOT DOG. ha ha, it provided hours of laughter.
Lexi of course wanted to join in on the fun too... she is just way too adorable and way fun to be around.
Here is little Remington after his baptism. We are so proud of him and love being around him.
I am so addicted to this little girl and her smile. She is the cutest little 2 yr old with so much personality and sass!!!
We went to the hotel to swim. All our neices and nephew are little fish. They could swim for hours if they had it their way. Everyone had fun swimming... the boys even got into a water wrestling match... well more like they all tried to dunk Josh, until Jeff came to the rescue.
Oh Gary and Diana... they knew I had my camera and know I take millions of pics so they posed it the hot tube so I would snap their pic... and I did ;)
Nikki didn't wanna swim being 7 months pregnant (but so is Sheridan, sorry Nik, you have a lame excuse :) but she sat on the side lines visiting with Grandma Lola.
Lola, you deciding not to smile in this pic is going to provide years of laughter for all of us.
Little Lexi and Raegan are the best of friends hanging out watching Strawberry Shortcake. I hope things work out soon for Jeff and I having kids so they can at least have some cousins the same age.
Breakfast with the Harris clan is always a big to do!!! They is always TONS of food and you really could go all day without eating again, you get so full. Grandpa Tip makes the best potatoes and bacon, perfectly seasoned. And Josh makes the best over easy eggs... Tipper on the other hand needs to keep working on it :)
Jeff playing "Good night... good morning" with the girls!
Raegan had a hard time warming up to Jeff... actually she never really warmed up to him. Josh was telling us she loves to go on dates, so Jeff took her on a date to the gas station to get laffy taffy, and for the whole night she kept telling everyone about her date with Jeff. She sure is cute.
It was so nice to be back in St. George. Jeff and I never thought we would be able to make it back down to southern utah to visit since both our home towns are in northern utah. We were able to hit some of our favorite restaraunts... Cafe Rio, Honolulu Grill, Nelson's Frozen Custard, and Little Caesars (we don't have that in Alaska and for some reason the cheap pizza tasted so good). We were sad we didn't get to hit Bengi Thai but maybe next time. Jeff was even able to make a Mesquite run with Tipper. Overall, it was a great trip and a great relaxing weekend with family.

Good-bye 2011
Well the end of the year is here and it's time to look forward to 2012. Jeff and I have had a very busy, fun filled, entertaining year. We have been so so blessed and couldn't be more grateful for all that we have. I get emotional closing up the year because 2012 is filled with ..... so many possible changes and big decisions. I don't do well with change, well actually I don't do well not knowing what is to come and not being in complete control. So what's ahead for us, we continue to battle infertility but are very grateful for our DR and all she is doing to help us get pregnant. We could possibly be buying our first home (if we stay in Alaska), we could potentially move to Utah (if Jeff gets hired there), we could potentially not even put in to move to Utah if they aren't even hiring so then our 2 states of choice would be Alaska and Hawaii. Jeff could potentially NOT have a job with the FAA this WHOLE year... they only hire twice a year, March and Oct. So if we don't hear by March where we are going we have to wait until October and even then he may not even head to Oklahoma until the end of the year of even beginning of 2013. So really the only stable thing we have right now in our lives is my jobs, the dogs, and each other (and of course our family and friends). So good-bye 2011, and please treat us well 2012.

Hoarding?
Ok, so with the New Year right around the corner I have been thinking about many things I want to improve on in the New Year. I'm not saying "resolutions" cuz let's be honest, who actually follows through with those. But as I've been home the last 10 days without working (thanks again hives) I've had alot of time to contemplate and possibly admit to the fact that I have a hoarding problem. Let the pics explain it all...
Anyone else able to sympathize with me in the fact that I have WAY TOO MANY CLOTHES. HA HA, kinda embarrassing. But I love clothes. So let me just tell you now, the rest of my house DOES NOT look like this. I find myself a very clean and semi-organized person. Minus the 3 nights in a row of working, I always have the house cleaned, vaccumed, and laundry done.... just not folded. I have a MAJOR issue with folding and hanging up clothes. (So much that I just barely unpacked my clothes from my luggage from when I went home to Utah in OCTOBER :) A little side note, I have so many clothes that Jeff has to use the guest bedroom closet. So let this be a new start... after 1 large garbage bag of old clothes (donating to the garbage), 1 large bag coming back to Utah to give to my sisters and organizing old summer clothes in to bins, my closest is organized and room is CLEAN!!!
