8 days and counting...

My blog has really slacked off since I've been engaged and planning a wedding. I've tried to keep it up but everytime I get on I end up blog stalking and then run out of time to update my own.
As far as wedding plans go... they are slowly coming together. If it weren't for my mom and sisters, I would get nothing done. I just had my bridals taken this last week and had so much fun. I can't wait to get all the proofs back. I made my own guest sign in book online and I'm so excited to see how it turned out(I stole the idea from my sister :) The flowers have all been ordered and my bouquet is going to be one of a kind. It's been fun to be my own little wedding planner. I designed my own dress, arranged and picked out every individual flower in my bouquet, and have in my head exactly how I want the ceremony and reception decorated. Luckily, its all outdoors in a beautiful garden, and the weather in Utah County is so beautiful right now. i just pray it doesn't rain. Our house is all put together, finally found the couches we wanted. Jeff and I are so excited to enjoy movie nights on our amazing TV. I so can not wait to get married and have a best friend by my side... someone to come home to, someone to cook for, and someone to be there for me at all times. I sit here and think how lucky I am to have someone as amazing as Jeff. I have never had so much fun with someone before. When I was putting together our slideshow, It amazed me how much we have done in 9 months. And I get so excited for all the adventures to come, 2 honeymoons (one in Park City and then a month later in Costa Rica), a possible 10 day hunting trip to Africa next year, and then our exciting move to Los Angeles in February. There is no one else i rather do all this with than Jeff. I can't wait to get married.

Here is a little of what has been consuming my time the last few weeks in between wedding planning.....

Jeff and I boating at Otter Creek with Jeff family a couple weeks ago.

Me knee boarding at Otter Creek. This was right before I tried to jump the wake and crashed so hard I knocked the wind out of me, lost the contents in my stomach and was so dizzy I had to lay down for a few hours... but then I got right back on the next day!!! I'm a fish when it comes to water.

My WHOLE fam (mom was taking the pic) celebrating my dad's 50th birthday at the Papa Roach/Hinder/Nickelback concert. Oh my gosh, we all have never ever had so much fun rocking out as a family!!!

Bridal shower #1 in Tremonton from my mother in law and grandmother. I have never been more embarrassed about opening certain gifts than I was this day in front of family... thanks to my amazing sis in laws for the flushed cheeks!!!

Briadal shower #2 from my mom and sisters. It was an excellent turn out with friends and family I was so happy to see support me.

A sneek peak... these were taken by my mom (she thinks she should become a professional photographer now )

Busy busy...

We have been so busy this last month... and none of it has been wedding plans, well ok we got our engagements taken, that's it... its all been vacations!!! We went to Otter Creek and Fish Lake with Jeff family for a few days and then we joined up with my family in Bear Lake for some fun in the sun and on the beach. I can't believe I get married in 5 weeks. It's so crazy. I move into our house this weekend, send out announcements next week, finish making my wedding dress, get bridal pics done, have 2 bridal showers and then the big day!!! Wow!!!!! I can't wait. Our lives have been so blessed and I know that this change in my life will be the best decision I've ever made....

YES, YES, YES!!!!

Well just to spread the word, while up at Bear Lake for the 4th of July, Jeff finally popped the question just after the finale of the fireworks. He had it all plotted out with my relatives. He was so cute and of course I had to ruin it but it all worked out. He got down on one knee and asked me in front of all my relatives. I'm so lucky to have him. He makes me so happy. I never stop smiling. He has made me love life so much. I don't know what I would have done without him in my life. And I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with someone as perfect as him!!!

To the ones I love...

These last few weeks have been so exciting for my family. My little bro graduated from HS and is preparing to conquer the world. His biggest goal is to become a marine and serve a mission. I'm so proud of him. We have become so close and I can't wait to support him in all he does in life. I love you Jonny!!!

Other exciting news... after a long 6 months of waiting Amanda and Scott are finally going to tie the knot. I'm so happy for Amanda. She has waited so long for this day. She makes such a beautiful bride. I'm so glad she found someone who completes her and makes her so very happy. I love her with all my heart and can't wait to see her walk out those temple doors this weekend.

My Amazing Life

Life has been so amazing the last few months. I've been able to enjoy my days off and I'm living life to the fullest. Jeff and I spend every chance we get together. Even when I'm at work he will come in and have dinner with me so that we can still see each other. We have had so much fun together. Our trip to San Diego was so amazing. We also have gone on many bike rides on his new motorcycle. We went to Zion's to have dinner with his two brothers and their wives. It was a beautiful night. We have also gone turkey hunting and fishing up in Tremonton while visiting Jeff's family. I can't wait to continue to laugh and smile with Jeff in my life!!!

San Diego Trip

Jeff had to go to San Diego for a business seminar so I decided to bum along for a little vacation for myself. Never did it occur to me that we would have so much fun and I would fall in love with the whole atmosphere of San Diego. I would love to move there, maybe do a little travel nursing or something. When we first got to town we went to Sea World. It was so much fun. We were there all day and enjoyed the whole park. We were also able to go to a Padres game. We were just driving around one night touring downtown and noticed there was event parking everywhere and asked a cop what it was for. When I heard it was the Padres vs Rockies game I freaked out, I have always wanted to go to a Pro baseball game. So being the sweetheart Jeff is we got tickets 10 rows back from home plate, right behind the Padres dug out. It was the most amazing game ever. I was in awe the whole time. The last day we were there we walked along the beach and drove around looking at all the beautiful beach houses. Seriously, the place was beautiful. I was also able to lay out at the pool and get a much needed tan, went shopping, went to the San Diego Temple and ate out at Dave and Busters and played arcades all night. It was the best vacation ever. We all had so much fun!!!
This next pic was right before we got soaked!! We sat in the splash zone but Jeff kept reasurring us that we wouldn't get wet.... ha ha ha!!! It was cold and salty and not expected but it sure felt good later walking around in the heat.

Getting ready for our flight simulated helicopter right over the arctic ocean!!! It was intense and left me with whip lash and a sore back!!!

Jeff hates sharks. I think they are just facinating. We were in a tunnel with sharks swimming all around us, it was so amazing.

It was so fun to feed the seals. They were so comical. As you can tell the one on the rock didn't like to share... in fact he got very angry when we didn't feed him. It was hilarious to watch him yell at us!!!

San Diego temple.... It just took my breath away. I can't wait to someday travel and go through as many temples as I can!!!

This is Seal Harbor on La Jolla Beach. These seals are found here almost year round. It was fun to just sit and watch them lounge around and scoot across the beach and then dive back into the water.
