Great Friends

Jeff and really have been so fortunate to meet soooo many people here in Alaska, and most of them are all in our ward. We have absoluetly loved our ward here and can't believe how welcoming and loving everyone is. Our missionaries here do such great work, in the last 3 months since living here we have had probably 8 or 9 bapstisms and many many investigators. Well Jeff home taught one of the newest converts, Terry Garrison. We really got to be very close with Terry, having him over for sunday diners, over for conference, took him out to lunch and dinner a few times, Jeff running him around to do his errands, etc. Jeff even had the opportunity to give him the Aaronic priesthood. We really fell in love with him and he really feel in love with our dogs. Well Terry has made so many great changes in his life. We said our goodbyes this last weekend. Terry moved back to Texas to continue to move forward in the church and in life. We got all our friends together (most of them) and took him to dinner. We had so much fun laughing and giving advice about life, woman, and staying strong in the church. We can't wait to hear how he is doing and adjusting to his new life and we hope that we will get the chance to see him again.
