"Fireproof"

First off, I have had a long weekend. Needless to say it's been so long I have had a lot of time to contemplate life and to re-evalutate things. I gave a lesson in Relief Society by Elder Utchdorf called The Infinite Power of Hope. What an amazing lesson. I loved this lesson cuz I've had to go through trials that not only required hope on my behalf, but faith as well.
Then I came home and watched the most incredible movie ever... It's called Fireproof and if you haven't seen it I strongly suggest it. I've had a long weekend with Jeff in Hawaii so I've had a lot of extra down time. I've rented a few movies from Redbox and this was one. I couldn't believe the message it sent. It's mostly about overcomeing trials in marriage but I was able to apply so much to my life and my relationships with others. I honestly thought at first it was put out by the church, it isn't but it is just as good. If you get the chance to watch it please do, I wish I didn't have to go to work of I would watch it again. The man quote that hit me hard was "A woman's like a rose, if you treat her right she will bloom... if you don't she will wilt!" I have been so blessed to find someone I love and care so much about who even when he is in hawaii he still makes me smile.















I couldn't be happier in life. I am so blessed to have so much in my life. The Lord really has my best interest at heart. I'm so greatful to be a member of his church. And I'm so glad he brought Jeff into my life, he truly is my best friend and love of my life!!! I can't wait to see him again in less than 48 hours ;)

Family Fun in the Sun!!!

My family came down this last weekend to watch my bro play in a baseball tournament at Dixie College. It is always so fun when all of us are able to get together... I told Jeff if he could make it through the weekend with all us crazy Burton girls then he is stuck with me forever... lucky for me he fit right in and we couldn't have had a better weekend. Amanda and Scott had the brilliant idea to get silk screen shirts with Jonny's number on it for his last game... Jonny loved it!!! Thanks family for all the laughs and fun!!! I'm so glad the weather was amazing and that we all walked away with some Vit D and UV rays on our skin.

Attention: New Blog

Well it has come to my attention that I've really slacked off lately with the whole blogging thing... I apologize to those that look at my blog everyday expecting a new post!! ha ha. I'll try to do better.

First off, I am changing my blog address to scooponthedish.blogspot.com.

I won't change it for about two weeks so everyone will have a heads up. I'll try to comment those that are private because once I change it you won't be able to contact me. Hope I don't those anyone with the switch.

Second off, for those that have been keeping up with my life though blogging I feel I need to update you bout how my life is going. I hope the pics are pretty much self explanatory... but since Dec my life has completely turned around. I never ever thought I would be as happy as I am now. I truly have been blessed. The Lord really does know what is best for us! Unfortunately I had to go through some major trials to get where I am but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Ever since I met Jeff, there hasn't been a dull moment in my life. I honestly have the worlds biggest perma-grin ever :) I can't wait to see what the future has in store!!!
